Are you running in mixed mode with Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2003?

I have this same issue in my Mixed mode environment, however the
duplicates only occur on my Exchange 5.5 mailboxes with the automatic
forwarding to contacts/custom recipients.

I will not go into detail as to why this occurs until you reply stating
that you are running the same type of setup. If you are not in mixed
mode, I am not sure why this is happening to you.

Regards,
chris

Subject: [exchangelist] email forwarding twice

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi, I have a Front-end and a Back-end server. I setup a "contact" with
an
external email. I configure a client's account and have all his email
"COPIED" to that Contact ( which is the extermal email address ).
However, incoming emails from outside are forward to hte Contact's
address
twice. emails sent from internal domain is find ( only 1 forwarD).
Is there any setting on the Front-end or Back-end server???

PS: this happens to all the exchange clients who need mail forward.

Thanks alot
Henry
