Is your WINDOWS 2000 DC's IP setting for DNS, referring to itself? If you
installed DNS with DCPROMO, the Windows 2000 DC would not be using it's own
DNS.

   how can i manually add srv records on my Windows 2000 PDC DNS Server.The
srv records on my dns server are missing.i tried to delete the zone and
recreate it,restarated the netlogon service. still i am facing the same
problem.
 
any sugestions
