The field "Automatically update e-mail addresses based on recipient
policy" indicates whether the Recipient Update Service is responsible
for applying Exchange attributes to this mailbox. If the box is
unchecked, then the following attributes are not applied by the RUS:
mail, proxyAddresses, textEncodedORAddress, and msExchPoliciesIncluded.
This field is a calculated field. It is calculated based on whether the
attribute msExchPoliciesExcluded includes the policy named
{26491CFC-9E50-4857-861B-0CB8DF22B5D7} or not. If that policy is present
in that list, then the box is unchecked; otherwise, the box is checked.

For more information on this field, see Microsoft KB 318072.

Providing more information about what you actually want to do would
allow us to give you a better answer.
