thanks for reply. the hotfix package i had applied to my outlook, and the
setting which is not show in my outlook is the "local copy of mailbox",
mailbox setting in advanced tab and the proxy setting. if i configure with
my setting, would it be the different result. what is the different without
this setting. or may be i will miss something?

Sounds like you are trying to configure Outlook 2003 to use RPC over HTTP,
but the option is not available on your version of Outlook 2003, correct?,
if this is the case you need to make sure you have applied the Hotfix listed
in this article to your Outlook 2003 client:
