That was it. When I created manually mailbox they were able to login but still the GAL is empty. Do I need to rebuild/update the Recipient Update Services? Thanks for your help. -----Original Message----- From: <ChongJa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "[ExchangeList]" <exchangelist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 1 Dec 2005 16:08:01 -0500 Subject: [exchangelist] RE: connecting to Exchange issues http://www.MSExchange.org/ Your users don't have mailboxes thats why it's not in the GAL. To create a mailbox for a user, right click the user and choose exchange tasks, than choose create mailbox. Once this is done wait a few minutes until the RUS stamps it, than it will show in the GAL. How would I check if these accounts have mailboxes? If I go to Mailbox Store in Exchange System Manager, under Mailbox I see my mailbox but not the others. When I log into outlook I don't see any users in GAL. It's just empty. Doesn't give me any error messages. What do you mean by "If make sure that this DC is also not the GC." I followed the article and the DC that's listed is the first DC in the domain and has all the FSMO roles. ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp ------------------------------------------------------ Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: http://www.techgenix.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: zbilic@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Report abuse to info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
