The type of clustering you're referring to isn't possible out of the box
with Exchange. Check out http://us.neverfailgroup.com/products/NFFE.asp.
That's just one example of how this can be done, I believe there are other
products that do similar things.

clarification ... the intent being that the second server will be a backup
server to the first one and stay "in sync" somehow, so if the primary
dies, the secondary can take over.  Not clustering for load sharing.
