Yes you can use arcserve with Exchange agent to backup your exchange.
Make full backup on daily basis. Make sure that you don't have the
circular logging enable (On the General Tab of the first storage group
Properties).

About the logs: The logs file reaches 5MB, it's renamed and a new log
file is started.

can i use arcserve 2000 backup software do the daily backup, will it

And i encourted one problem is my exchange server the log files is
increasing very fast almost 1  mins two log files during the internet
line
(ISDN) is no active on sunday,i using router doing the scheduling .

I have to keep clearing exchange logs to create space otherwise exchange
starts misbehaving. How can I automate this practice.
