RE: atti5eia.dat

I know that if someone sends a gpg signature it appears as a .dat file. This 
happens because Outlook sees that file and does not know what to do with it. If 
it were to have a gpg program, it would use that.
Is there something that could perhaps be thinking that some people need 
encrpytion or perhaps the person's outlook that sends the mail believes that 
the recepeit (or perhaps even your server) believes that something special 
needs to happen and thus sends an attached .dat file.
What is in these .dat files?
Just an idea...
