Maybe...
C:\Documents and Settings\%USER PROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\OLKxxx

Or you can try to Find it !
PRESS "F3" and type attachment name.... and then, "SEARCH"

I Hope that it help you !

does anyone know where outlook saves an attachment if you were editing it?
one of my users got an email with an excel attachment and were editing it
within the email and kept hitting "save" but when they closed the email and
opened it again, all their changes were gone. the email was not in "drafts" or
"my docs" or anywhere in their profile dir.

they are running outlook 2003

thanks for any insights
