<shudder>

Yes, but I wouldn't.

If I were to put together a list of the things I would not do
unattended, running eseutil and isinteg would be WAY up toward the top
of that list.

But to provide you a little more info: CDOEXM supports the "Mount" and
"DisMount" methods on the individual store objects. This is accessible
from any automation-capable language (Vbscript, jscript, C++, etc.). If
you really really want code to do this, I can find some sample stuff
around.

Subject: [exchangelist] What is the command to dismount to store?

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Is there a way to code a script or batch file that does the
following:(Exchange Server 2000)

Dismount the mail store
run   eseutil /d "c:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb"
run isinteg -s kahnlucasmail -fix -test alltests
Mount the mail store

The goal is: Schedule the mail store defrag to run in an unattended
environment. i.e. schedule to run on a Sunday at 01:00
