What changes need to be done in client machine when SSL is configured for Exchange 2003

Hi
I am using Evolution mail client. I could login to exchange server
before SSL & FBA authentication was enabled. Thru OWA i am able login
using url https://computer-name.domain name/exchange.
When i try to login using 'Evolution' mail client, throws error
authentication failed for already configured user or unable to connect
to server for new mail id configured. I am not sure its evolution
problem or i am missing some configuration in client machine.
