yes this is quite easy actually.. if you know php. using the ldap functions of php you can get all the detailed information reguarding your users that exists in active directory (which is just and ldap directory). once you pull the info, just create a mailto: link for that pulled info. the nice thing about this is that its all dynamic.. you dont have to change your code every time a teacher or student leaves or comes. I am sure it can be done in java or any server side scripting language, but I have done this in php. -----Original Message----- From: John Allen [mailto:itcalif@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, December 18, 2002 1:21 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Re: Web posting of Email accounts http://www.MSExchange.org/ Scott, have you tried hard coding the email address in the web code? John Scott Van Singel <svansingel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: http://www.MSExchange.org/ I have a question or a project that I am trying to complete. We have Exchange 2000 with SP3 on it. I am a network admistrator for a Public School system, we have 3000 students and 450 staff and faculty. I would like to have a web page created so that it will pull the users email accounts from the Email server. At this time when someone would like to email a teacher at our school, we do not have a listing of teachers and email address. Is there anyway I can have a web page created to pull the email addresses off the Exchange server.
