Do not use NAV 7.5 to scan your exchange databases or logs.

In fact take nav off of your exchange server...it's not needed. You need
to use an exchange aware anti-virus solution.

Jason, what is causing the adverse effect, the volume of virus messages
you're receiving?

http://www.MSExchange.org/

I'm having a problem with viruses shutting down the Internet Mail
Service on Exchange Server 5.5.

I am using Norton Antivirus 7.5 Corporate Client on Exchange
Server........
although Norton is able to quarantine the viruses successfully, it is
still having an adverse effect on the mail services. My Exchange server
has been in production for about a month. This problem has only started
happening the last two days.

Thanks for any input!
