RE: Veritas & Exchange mail notification problem...

There are two different ways of send e-mail notification.

The way using a mail profile (which uses MAPI protocol), and the way using a
SMTP server configuration.

Open Backup Exec, Tools, Notification Setup.

Click on SMTP setup and enter the correct information.

Click on Add Notification and choose Send E-mail (SMTP).
