uptomp.exe is the program to upgrade single to multiprocessor HAL but read
all the knowledge base articles on it and ensure you have a very good full
backup before using it as it can kill your system.

Thanks

That's not how you do it, you need to load the multi processor HAL.
Search the knowledge base for details.

Subject: [exchangelist] Upgrading Processor

http://www.MSExchange.org/

I am currently upgrading my server from a single 800Mhz processor to a
dual 800Mhz processors. There is a file in Windows Resource Kit CD which
a person needs to run in order for Windows NT 4.0 Server to see the
other processor.

Please can someone give me the executable file I need to run.

regards

Thomas Kamire
