It may take a while for them to appear but they will show up. Try sending a
message to a mailbox you moved. I know new mailbox's created in Exchange
2000 will not appear in the storage group until Email is sent to it, could
be the same issue here.

Thanks, after installing admin pak, move mailbox option is available. but
now the problem is, I can not see the moved mailboxes unter exchange 2000
server, first storage group, mailboxes. Does it take time for them to be
appeared, or is there something wrong?

I had this problem last week. Did you install the Admin Pak on the Exchange
server? If not you will need this in order for the option to move the mail
boxes to appear. Additionally you could load the Exchange System Manager to
the DC, this will allow you to perform the move from the DC.

Subject: [exchangelist] Upgrading Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000 with Swing
Method

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi All,

Could you please tell me the steps to upgrade Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000
server with Swing method?

I did the steps below :

* Install ADC between AD and Exchange 5.5

* Run forestprep on DC (I joined to exchange 5.5 site)

*         Run domainprep on DC

* Install Exchange 2000 on another server

But there was no "move mailbox" option on user properties after I did these
things.

Thanks
