Where is the mail being sent, ending up? Who is receiving the NDR? Again
the header (all of it - check your sent items!) and the NDR would be
useful!

This might be a stupid question - but here goes:

Is there any easy way to tell how it is sending it?

Thanks

Troy

Is the third party package using MAPI?

Is it sending via SMTP or using Sendmail etc?

Hi,

We are using ACCPAC (a 3rd party finance package) to send out emails
which include the remittance advice as an attachment.

When the email is sent Exchange bounces back a message saying:

Undeliverable

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.....

.....

The following recipients could not be reached:

email address that the message was sent to and a date/time stamp

Unable to deliver the message due to a recipient problem

MSEXCH:MEExchangeIS:DOMAINNAME:SERVERNAME

The email address is valid in all senses - as the same Outlook client
can send a manual email to the address without any problems....When
looking at the actual email sent there appears to be nothing strange or
incorrect about it....

If anyone is able to offer any advice on what might be happening here I
would be more than grateful.

Thanks and Regards

Troy
