The only problem with that is when your users reply to the message from
the "common address" the reply from will be from the individual user.

My suggestion is just create a common mailbox separate from the actual
users mailboxes... In affect the two users who will access this
"common" box will have an individual mailbox and the "common" box.
Just setup two outlook profiles on each machine pointing to each
separate mailbox and set outlook to prompt for a profile. If messages
come in to this common box infrequently then setup a server side rule to
notify the two users that a new mail message has arrived in their own
email box and to basically check it out. This way if they reply to a
message in the common box their response is coming from the common box
email address.

You cannot do that. Duplicate mail addresses are not permitted. But if
all you want is both recipinets should get a copy of the messages sent
to a particular ID, you can enable the Delivery Options in the mailbox
properties, to deliver all mails to both recipients.

I need assistance with a simple request. Is it possible, with MS
Exhange 5.5, to set up more than one recipients to use the same email
address? I get the error message "This email address already exists in
this organisation", but would very much like to be able to do it. Thanks
and regards, Helen Thomson
