When you say backup software you mean the native software that comes
with Windows 2000 right?

Your backup software will delete the older logs for you. After a full
backup, committed logs are deleted.

Hi again everyone.

WHats the best way to manage transaction logs. I know circular logging
is not the best for disaster recovery, so how do you manage regular
logging. Do you just delete old logs and what criteria do you use for
this? Will exchange delete the logs as they are commited to the
database?

thanks for your feed back

Ed
