Encountered this before, it depend on the telnet client you used.
Some telnet client has the local echo turn off, so you will not see what
you type.
Try see whether you can turn on the local echo.

But my problem is that after the ok prompt i cannot type in anything.I
can get the commands from some links.
But the basic thing of typing is not possible .
Might be silly.
BUT!!!
what am i to do so that i can type in ??
