Are you wanting Anti Virus with those fries, sir? :-D
Heh
Anti-virus will cost signifigant processing power as well, and any
recommendations will need to be adjusted accordingly.
This is something which ended up biting us in the butt.
Just a little F.Y.I.

Subject: [exchangelist] System Requirements for Exchange 2000 server

Okay, we all can find the "minimum recommended system requirements" for
Exchange 2000 from Microsoft.com which laughingly calls for a 166MHz
processor, 256MB of RAM, with Windows 2000 Server.

I'd like to hear some "real world" recommendations for a server to
support around 600 mailboxes in a single site now with expansion to 1000
in the next 5 years.

Thanks!
