Mailmarshal is an SMTP engine. It can coexist with Groupshield, but you
need to have a dedicated box running Mailmarshal. All incoming mails
from the Internet will first pass through Mailmarshal, and then to
Groupshield. I evaluated MM and it worked great.

Groupshield isnt compatible with a number of anti-spam add-ons such as
GFIs offering (confirmed by their tech support). MailMarshal also isn't
confirmed as working with it although they don't actually exclude it.
But as MM has integrated virus scanning (made by McAfee) its not a huge
problem there.

I recently had to abandon Groupshield as I couldn't find an anti-spam
product that explicitly says it works with the product.
