Hi All,
I have tried to telnet the virtual server from the first exchnage server. but
it did not work, I did not get any results from the telnet command.

To add more information, the second server is a virtual server on a first node
of cluster. Both Windows and Exchange has SP3, About DNS I went to DNS and add
an MX record manually by the name of the virtual server, also in SMTP server
when you select check DNS is delivery tab it will give you that the DNS name is
valid.

This can often be caused by a DNS issue, if you go to the server that is
having problems sending and try to telnet to the new server using its FQDN
on port 25 do you get a response?

Hi All,
I am facing the following problem:
I have one Windows 2000 domain and one Exchange 2000, I have added a new
Exchange server to the same administration and routing group. The problem is
that when a user tries to send and email to another user having his mailbox
on the other server the mail is not receiving. When you go to SMTP server
queue you will see the message in the queue and it says that connection to
remote server is not responding in both servers.
