Strange delivery notes involving syntax?!

Hi all,
I've started getting this error on some accounts recently and
can't really work out what's causing it. Any ideas?

We had a "contractor" working on our routing groups earlier this month
but I'm still trying to find out what he did as I was away. Could this
be the cause?
Win2k server running Exch2k.
