How long has this been going on, what has changed since it started happening
(i.e new software added to the machine, Anti-virus, Spam Filtering software
added)?

What service pack for Exchange?

My store on 5.5 is running at 100% CPU, I have stopped, started the
services, rebooted the machine but it continues. Mail still moving both
ways, but this needs to be addressed. Machine response very slow, mail
moving very slow.
