The recommendation is to usually try and create as few SG's as possible as each one has memory and cpu requirements as well as transaction log requirements. In other words, if you don't need another one, don't create it. If you do, then be aware of the resource usage associated. One of the factors to consider is the restore time of the SG vs. the store. Curious, with 5 countries do you have one server? Or multiple Routing Groups? -----Original Message----- From: Devon Harding - GTHLA [mailto:DHarding@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, September 10, 2003 10:02 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Storage groups http://www.MSExchange.org/ Is there a recommendation in creating Exchange 2000 storage groups? Is there size, users' recommendation? Currently I have 1 storage group at ~67GB hosting 500 users in 5 different countries. _____________________ Devon Harding System Administrator Gilat Latin America 954-858-1600 dharding@xxxxxxxxxxx This e-mail is intended for the above named addressee(s), and may contain information which is confidential or privileged.
