You will still have to remove the last exchange server after the move is
complete?

You'll be much better off installing new and moving mailboxes. As long
as the two servers are in the same administrative group, you won't have
to make any Outlook profile changes, they'll automagically transfer to
the new server.

I need to move Exchange 2K/Windows2K SP4 to new hardware. I do not want
to use Veritas to restore, since the hardware is different.
Any ideas, or would it be best to install OS and Exchange on the new
hardware, then use the Move Mailbox to get the mailboxes and public
folders to the new machine?
If so, since the Exchange server will be a different name, will the Move
Mailbox method require changing each Outlook client to new server name?
