Slow opening email with attachments

Hi all,
The VP of our Corp. is having difficulty with email. He can open text
email just fine. But when trying to open an email with an attachment it
almost takes a minute. No one else is experiencing this problem. In fact
we can log on to his machine and check email with attachments just fine.
We are running Exch 2000 with Outlook 2000 clients on W2K Prof desktops.
Is it possible his windows profile is corrupt?
