Thanks for your response, Danny. 1 - The error log (event viewer if that's what you mean) is pretty clean 2 - Inbound emails are coming in within a minute or two. 3 - I have Norton enterprise edition - its updated with the latest patches and virus signature files. 4 - As far as I'm concerned, no changes to the Exchange server or the firewall has been made. I just noticed this last week, never really paid attention to it before. 5 - The last part you wrote, "Have you tried using your ISP to relay your email using a smarthost or the like?" How do I do that? Any other things you may think of? Are you running properly configured and up-to-date anti-virus protection on your systems including the Exchange server? What has changed since this started happening? Have you tried using your ISP to relay your email using a smarthost or the like? How is incoming and internal email? ...D ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSEXchange.org Discussion List as: nperez@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
