Setup Exchange Server on two location

Hi guru's,
I am new in Exchange Server and I have a questions about it.
Is it possible to install 2 exchange server 2003 on different location and
the same domain or sub-domain? The other location(another country) doesn't
have 24 Hour internet connection. Is that possible?
If thats not to simple to explain, is there any guides that I can read? or
short way to guide those configuration.
This guide would be so much help for me.
