Hi Fritz,

Yeah! you can do that.
All you need is to configure OFFLINE PST FILE which will store a copy on
Server as well as at the User.
You can search for more help in MS-KB for the key word OFFLINE PST FILE or
someone from the list can give u the exact KB Article.

Good Luck,
Athif

Subject: [exchangelist] Server Client Mail Storage

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Greetings!
I have setup our exchange server to host and store all mails.
This was meant to allow clients to access their mail anywhere they are in
the building.
However, I discovered a downside to this... in case of a hard drive failure,
all mail will be gone except the daily backup.

How do I set it up so clients can have a local copy on their computers while
keeping a copy on the server? Can I configure it on PST files?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

fritz <www.mesedilla.com>
