It seems that recreating the Recipient Update Policy fixed the problem.  All 
addresses and the GAB are updating correctly (and promptly, lol). Thanks so 
much for responding!

Set diagnostic logging on the MSEXCHANGEAL to max, create a new user and let 
RUS work its magic (or not as the case maybe), I would say leave it for about 
15 minutes and then have a look in the Application Log, that should shed some 
light on the problem.

I actually tried that, but it fails because Exchange doesn't create any 
addresses for the user.  Naturally, I get the "Undeliverable" message L All 
Exchange tabs are available in the user properties but no addresses at all.  
Pulling my hair out at this point.

Hey Everyone,

 

I am having a major issue here.  When I create a new user in AD, and create a 
mailbox for that user (Exhange 2003), the mailbox does not get created in 
Exchange.  HOWEVER, all Exchange properties are available for that user (just 
no email address).  I know that there is a delay when the mailbox gets created 
but it has been an hour since I created this account.

 

Any ideas at all??  PLEASE HELP! L
