Hi all

Sorry but I can see one reason to lock machines rather than logout and it is
not security related. It relates to downloading Windows updates using
GPO's..If you enable the GPO policy to do automatic reboots after installing
updates it will only prompt if someone is logged on. Otherwise it just
reboots without warning. I know this form direct experience. I set up a test
and watched in horror as every machine on my network that had no one logged
on spontaneously rebooted itself without any warning or prompting after the
last major windows update. Checking the event logs after the event confirmed
this and I phsyically observed it too.
