You can do the same from one position whit much less effort, by using
the exmerge utility, found on your Exchange 2000 cd.
Whit this utility you export and import all mailboxes to individual PST
files.

I did this but I only had 55 users, I exported all mail from the outlook
clients to a .pst file and then imported them back in once I had
finished.
Maybe a bit long winded but worked O.K. for me
N.B got the users to empty deleted items and sent items as well

I am using a MS Exchange Server 5.5 at the time in my company, but i am
going to migrate to MS Exchange Server 2000 (A new installed Server)
