A regular web server cert. I use and recommend Entrust.

You can use a CA cert or a self-signed cert, but you have to load the
cert on each workstation that is going to use RPC/HTTPS. That's a REAL
PITA.

Hi all,

For RPC over HTTP, what kind of SSL cert do I need to order? a regular
"web server" certificate or some other kind of cert? Any
recommendations?

best regards
Mike
