Hi Monika,
Yes, you need SSL. Yes, you can use a third party certificate such as
Verisign. Generate the request through the IIS, and you can submit the
request to Verisign to get the certificate. Once you get the new
certificate, you can process the pending request in IIS.

I recall reading somewhere that in order to use
form based login with OWA, I must use SSL. Is that correct?
If so, would it be OK not to use a third party certificate?
