You had it setup to authenticate internally... as in, you have it to
authenticate to another server outside of the DMZ within your LAN? If
so, *from* this new frontend server, are you able to communicate with
the server it is suppose to authenticate to? Have you adjusted your
firewall rules appropriately? What type of traffic can you get through
to the authenticating server?
