An example of this scenario may be when a user replies to an old mail message from another user who has been recreated or migrated, and who no longer has the same legacyExchangeDN or X.500 proxy address. Cause The RCPT TO command is not issued to the remote host because the recipient has not been encapsulated in SMTP format. Resolution To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
