Have you tried telneting to your server and putting in a test message to
them? Does it accept it normally?

It's been going on for about a week or so. Internal side is clean
(virus wise) however I do occasionally see a whole bunch of denied
entries in the firewall log (using WatchGuard Firebox). Reverse DNS
lookup looks good as well?

Hi Shawn,
I don't know of anything specific that causes these transient problems,
but the same or similar messages are generated when the delivery pipe is
squished somewhere along the way. Ie. The connection is established
(HELO) but transmission fails during the transfer. Could be a failed
router/redirected path, or high traffic due to a worm or similar.
IOW, try again tomorrow.

to to send out emails to one or two places (one is AOL). Any ideas?
