-------------------------------------------------------I'm have an exchange 2k3
sp2 server which is used only to house
journaling mailboxes (about 6 dedicated to 6 servers housing ~500
users each).
This server keeps reaching the trans log # limit every 6-8 weeks.
It also reached the named props quota on 4 db's.
After recreating the db's, the named props is back up to ~20000 (dont
know if this is high) and i am getting event id's warning that the
trans log limit is approaching.
Is this normal for a server with only mailboxes that are being
journaled to (a mailbox manager process runs every nite to purge the
deleted items on these mailboxes, i guess increasing the # of
transactions)
should i be worried?
is there a way to tell what is creating all the named props?
Thanks very much
