Nope, must be Outlook XP to use that parameter. However, I just saw that
there came an article on msexchange.org. The title is "Dealing with
Localization of Outlook Folders" and the author is Amit Zinman. I will have
a look at it.

BTW there is a so called "Language Stamper Tool" from a Germany author. The
web page is http://www.masuch.net/ <http://www.masuch.net/> ;-) I will test
it asap.

IIRC you can use Outlook 2000 (maybe it's XP, not sure) with the start
parameter /ResetFolderNames to change to the language which is effective on
the computer you're working with.

Subject: [exchangelist] Restting Local ID of Exchange 5.5 mailbox

Dear list,

AFAIK the localid (Default language) of an Exchange 5.5 mailbox is set while
first connecting with a MAPI Client like Outlook. Is there a way to change
this setting to another language?

Greets,
Christian
