I can use eseutil /P(repair Database), them eseutil /MH (analyse header of 
database) and if error is logon when you make eseutil /MH, you must performe 
with isinteg -pri -fix and then you can make off line defragmentation with 
eseutil /G

When you made the backup, how did you make the backup?  Online backup or just 
copy the file?

Hi Al,


I read everything.Let me explain: i made a backup of the MIS , and i want to 
restore to another machine.I configured the new machine like the old 
one(AD,Site ,OU everything),but after i make the restore and i try to mount the 
mailbox, it give an 'internal error' in which said to restart MIS.But doesn't 
resolve nothing. Can it be because of the DB signature?? In this case how can i 
resolve it. All the id error we encountered :1018,904,903,9518, 9519, 101. We 
solved (I think) those issues, but it still gives that error. Could it be 
because the "source" hardware was IDE based and the "destionation" hardware is 
RAID - Serial ATA based ?

Have you already read through the disaster recovery whitepaper for Exchange?  I 
think it may help here.

Hi all,


I need help urgent: 


I made a backup of my exch 2k server(MIS and also 'Exchsrvr') and i made a 
restore to another machine which has raid 1 and was configured after the source 
machine. First of all i made a restore of 'Exchsrvr' folder and also to MIS. 


The problem is : 1. i can't mount the old mailbox and public folder,but i can 
create a new mailbox or storage group.


                        2. i don't see my old mailbox in this new server.
