Restore db problem!!!!Help

Hi all,
I need help urgent:
I made a backup of my exch 2k server(MIS and also 'Exchsrvr') and i made a
restore to another machine which has raid 1 and was configured after the source
machine. First of all i made a restore of 'Exchsrvr' folder and also to MIS.
The problem is : 1. i can't mount the old mailbox and public folder,but i can
create a new mailbox or storage group.
2. i don't see my old mailbox in this new server.
