-------------------------------------------------------I would not recommend,
although there are third party utilities that
resize for servers, I would hesitate to perform something like this.
There is no easy way to handle something like this which usually
requires some sort of rebuild. What's on your C: drive and how much
space do you have left? This should not really grow much other than just
installing patches. Make sure you're not hosting SMTP logs, IIS Logs,
Message Tracking logs and possibly move your page file to another
partition.

Subject: [ExchangeList] Resize partitions on Server 2003

http://www.msexchange.org
-------------------------------------------------------Is there a way to
resize partitions on a Server (safely)? This is on a
my Exchange Server.

My C: drive is running out of space but the 3 other partitions are way
bigger than they need to be.

Do I need to save, repartition, format, and restore or can I make one of
those partitions smaller and give it to the C:\ drive partition?

This is all on a Raid 5 set of drives.

Or should I add another drive, move the C:\ drive partition information
to the new drive and not mess with resizing?
