In that case, I'd use exmerge to export the mailbox contents, delete and
recreate the user's mailbox, then open the PST from within Outlook to move
the data back into the mailbox. If you use exmerge to repopulate the
mailbox, it may recreate the misplaced folders.

Try starting Outlook from the run menu as follows:

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\winword.exe /resetfolders

Subject: [exchangelist] Rename/mov Outlook default system folders

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi,

A Quick question for exchange guru's across globe ;)

Is it possible to rename/move outlook 2003 default system folders like
Inbox, Sent Items, etc., One of my users sent items folder is moved to
another folder which he has created, but nobody knows how did the folder
moved.

Any inputs how to move it back to the root?? I've already tried exchng32.exe
utility which didn't help me apart from renaming the folder.

Thanks in advance,

GK
