I've gotten a little further with it. As I mentioned I'm using Exchange
2003 and it's built in blacklisting support to filter out mail from
domains that are blacklisted on public lists. I did a blacklist query
and my domain (dennis-carpenter.com) isn't on any blacklist however the
recipient (in Taiwan) is blacklisted on many of the lists. I don't want
to discontinue my use of public blacklists however I would like to have
the ability to send e-mail to this specific e-mail address if at all
possible.

Are they sending to an internal account or to an external account? If
external does it work if they send to an internal account? What client
are they using?, if Outlook 2000/XP/2003 etc is it configured to use
Corporate or Internet? If POP3 client, is it configured to authenticate
with the Outgoing Mail Server?

I'm getting the following error from a user inside of our e-mail system.
This is the first time I've had a problem like this at this company with
this setup and I'm a little baffled at why I'm getting the error.

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

      Subject: various
      Sent: 10/6/2003 9:19 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

      email@xxxxxxxxxxx on 10/6/2003 9:19 AM
You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For
assistance, contact your system administrator.
            <server.domain.local #5.7.1 smtp;550 5.7.1 Unable to relay
for email@xxxxxxxxxxx>

I tracked the email and it started outbound transfer of the message but
then a NDR was generated. I'm running Exchange 2003. I've double
checked the relay settings on the SMTP virtual server and "Only the list
below" is checked as is "Allow all computers which successfully
authenticate to relay, regardless of the list above." Any help is
appreciated!
