I got this error in my test lab environment. I was not able to figure out a way to get rid of the Recovery mode. I did not find anything in the Microsoft KB either. You can try to disable the cache mode, and restart Outlook. This may fix it. Once Outlook starts normally you can enable cache mode again. That is what I did. Last choice may be - Delete and create a new profile.
