Thanks Al, I performed the action from the ESM on the exchange server itself, the server is up and running with no problems in the email flow, the memory is 2 GByte. They say that the Recovery Storage Group doesn't count toward the 4 SGs limit, and in fact it was successfully created, it's only when I try to add databases to it when it hangs. I created a test RSG on the front end server and tried to add databases to it, I could add mailbox stores from the back end server, but on the back end server itself I fail to do so. Anything else I should check? Thanks, r. -----Original Message----- From: Mulnick, Al [mailto:Al.Mulnick@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, February 28, 2005 5:07 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Recovery Storage Group http://www.MSExchange.org/ Nothing in the event log? Hmm... I wonder if you have some memory limitations or a domain issue. Have you checked a) the workstation where you performed the administration b) the server itself c) the domain controller that was being used during the transaction? I have exchange 2003 (version 6.5 build 6944.4) , 4 storage groups and multiple mailbox stores in each storage group. What could be the problem?
