Doesn't the Dumpster need to be configured if you are retrieving this from
5.5. Its not default like it is on 2000 and on 2000 its only default for the
delted items folder. If you want it on the other folders inbox etc then the
dumpsteralwayson needs to be set.

There are 2 way you can configure the Recover Deleted
Items.

1. From the PRIVATE and PUBLIC INFORMATION Store -
General Tab

2. From the Recepient - Select client properties the
Limit TAB.

You'll see the deleted item retension time
