You have two options to recover password
1- Restore the just the SAM database from the repair folder or from
some other Win2k systems repair folder
2- If it is a part of the domain than just use the Domain admins user id
to login and change the local admin password
A third option works in NT 4.0
In nt 4.0 try renaming spools.exe to something and rename musrmgr.exe to
spools.exe. This solution works in nt4.0
In win2k try renaming spools.exe to something and rename lusrmgr.msc to
spools.exe. This solution is not tried try at your own risk. this is not
guaranteed to work.
